A holiday tradition we’re honored to be part of
Every November, the Ridgefield Guild of Artists transforms its gallery into a festive, art-filled holiday home — and this year, I’m thrilled to share that Jill Rae Designs is once again participating in Festive Home 2025.
This annual event is something I look forward to every season. It brings together the best of our community: talented artisans, local designers, and visitors who appreciate thoughtful craftsmanship and elevated design. It’s a place where creativity feels contagious — and where holiday traditions come to life in the most beautiful way.
Designing our holiday vignette
For this year’s theme, “Hometown Traditions,” I wanted to create a vignette that feels warm, collected, and authentically festive — a space that reflects the way so many of us celebrate the season: with layers of comfort, meaningful details, and a touch of timeless charm.
Our vignette combines:
Rich textures and layered styling that bring depth and warmth
Classic holiday elements reimagined through a fresh, design-driven lens
Pieces from talented local artisans, thoughtfully styled to complement our aesthetic
A mantel display featuring work by Allyson Monson Photography — a beautiful addition that adds both personality and place
My goal was to design a space that feels inviting, elevated, and a little magical — the kind of room you can imagine stepping into with a cup of cocoa or glass of wine in hand.
Why this event means so much
Festive Home is special because it celebrates community. It highlights the extraordinary talent we have right here in Ridgefield and surrounding towns — artists who pour passion into every handcrafted piece, and designers who bring those elements to life.
As a designer, I love being part of an environment where art and interiors intersect. It’s inspiring, energizing, and reminds me why I love what I do. Being able to contribute to that experience — and to help shape a moment that visitors can enjoy — is something I’m truly grateful for.
